BENEFITS OF ATTENDING A RETREAT

Retreats provide the rare opportunity to disconnect from day-to-day distractions and connect with intentional community.

Self-care does not equal selfishness!

Building up our ability to be compassionate towards ourselves increases our capacity to extend compassion to others. Invest in YOU today so that you can continue to show up for others and create the impact you wish to have in the world.

ABOUT THE EVENT

We often think that journaling is simply writing how we feel or reflecting on our day. Journaling is more than writing. It’s a way of listening to yourself, honoring your story, and gently shaping what comes next. Through intentional reflection, we can begin to reconnect with our inner voice, process what we’ve carried, and move toward healing, clarity, and possibility.

The written word creates space. It slows us down allowing us to notice what we feel, what we need, and what we’re ready to release or reclaim. In this space, you are not just living your story, you are learning to hold the pen again and become the narrator of what you want your story to look like.

Hosted by Dr. Cathia Walters, this session introduces accessible journaling practices and guided prompts designed to support self-discovery, emotional awareness, and intentional personal growth. Participants will be invited to reflect, reconnect, and create space for healing in a supportive and restorative environment.

We will also engage in healing movement practices through Tai Chi and line dancing, offering opportunities to reconnect with the body, release stress, and build joy through movement.

Join us on Saturday, June 13, 2026, Registration is limited to 20 people.

Refreshments will be served.
